Requirement for filing a patent application:

1- Power of Attorney from the applicant, duly legalized up to the Saudi Consul.

2- An assignment agreement from the inventor (if applicant is different from inventor).

3- Specification claims abstract and formal drawings (if any).

4-Particulars of prior patent application (if any).

5-A certification copy of the basic patent (for an application for patent of importation).

Requirements for Trade/ Service Mark:

Registration :

1- Power of Attorney, duly legalized up to the Saudi Consul.

2- Specification of goods or services and their respective classes.

3- Twenty prints of the mark.

Renewal : 

1- Power of Attorney, duly legalized with the Saudi consul.

2- Relevant original registration certification, for endorsement purpose.

    Change of  Name /Address :

1- Power of Attorney, duly legalized up to the Saudi consul.

2- Certificate of change for name/address, duly legalized up to the Saudi Consul.

3- Relevant original registration certificate, for endorsement purpose.

Assignment :  

1- Power of Attorney, duly legalized up to the Saudi consul.

2- Legalized assignment agreement.

3- Relevant original registration certificate, for endorsement purpose.

Licenses: 

1- Power of Attorney , duly legalized up to the Saudi consul.

2- Legalized license agreement.

3- Relevant original registration certificate, for endorsement purpose.

Merger :

1- Power of Attorney, legalized up to the Saudi consul.

2- Legalized merger agreement.

3- Relevant original registration certificate, for endorsement purpose.
